Currency:
Rupiah is the local currency. Euro, US$ cash or travelers cheques are recommended, credit cards are widely accepted. There are also many ATM from which cash be obtained using your credit cards.
Climate:
Between April and October, the humidity is low with an average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The weather becomes warmer and the humidity higher between November and March, with tropical rainfall and periods of bright sunshine. The average daily temperature during this season is constant 32 degrees Celsius. In the mountainous areas of Bali, expected the weather to be cooler and wetter.

Bahasa Indonesia is the national language but English is also fairly commonly spoken in the tourist areas.
Immigration:
Travelers from foreign countries must have a passport that has a validity period for at least six moths and in some cases visa as well except for citizens from ASEAN countries. With a new immigration policy, travelers from some thirty countries can be provided with visa on arrival; valid for a stay of a maximum period of 30 days.
Customs and Traditions:
Proper and decent clothing is required to be worn if visiting a temple and it is normal to remove shoes when entering a temple or private house. Embracing and intimate behavior in public are frowned upon and going nude or topless is forbidden. Dress casually in light clothes, as the weather is warm to hot throughout the year.
